Lemon Hill Solar Project

Lemon Hill Solar, LLC (Lemon Hill Solar) seeks a permit to construct and operate an up to 180-megawatt (MW) alternating current photovoltaic solar energy generating facility and associated infrastructure in Olmsted County, Minnesota. Lemon Hill Solar proposes to develop the project on approximately 966 acres within a site of 1,945 acres in Haverhill and Viola Townships. As part of the project, Lemon Hill Solar proposes to construct a new project substation and a 161 kilovolt (kV) generation tie line (<1,500 feet) to connect the new substation to the Dairyland substation owned by Dairyland Power Cooperative.
