Project Details
Byron Solar, LLC is proposing to build a 200 MW solar project in Dodge County Minnesota. The Byron Solar Project would connect to the electrical grid via approximately three to four and one-half miles of newly constructed 345 kV transmission line.

Project Summary
Byron Solar, LLC (a subsidiary of EDF Renewables) is proposing to construct and operate the 200 MW Byron Solar project on a site of approximately 1800 acres in Mantorville and Canisteo townships in Dodge County. As proposed, the Project would connect to the electric grid at the existing Byron Substation (west of Byron) via a transmission line of approximately three miles.
The Commission issued site and route permits with conditions for the project on May 1, 2023.
