Castle Rock Solar LLC proposes to construct the up to 150-megawatt (MW) / 600-megawatt hours (MWh) battery energy storage system (BESS) and associated facilities (Project) in Castle Rock Township, Dakota County, Minnesota. Associated facilities would include inverters, transformers, and electrical collection systems. The Project will be located entirely within the footprint of the previously permitted Castle Rock Solar Project (Docket No. 24-267).
